How the Saltire Is Drawn
Both diagonal arms are the same thickness and run corner to corner, meeting in the centre. That leaves four clear triangular fields — top, bottom, left and right — which is why this design suits four separate short text blocks, or one bold line placed in a single field.
Placing Text on a Diagonal Flag
White lettering works on the green, but avoid centring a long line where it crosses the white arms — the two colours meet there and legibility drops. The designer offers quick placement buttons for the four fields, so you can drop a layer into a clear area in one tap and then fine-tune it.
How the Flag Is Finished
The printed fabric is cut square, hemmed along every edge and fitted with metal eyelets so it can be tied off or hung without the corners tearing. Green and white also hold up particularly well to sunlight, which matters if the flag is going to live outdoors.

Every flag is dye-sublimation printed onto premium fire-retardant polyester, finished with reinforced edges and metal eyelets, and produced in the UK. Six standard sizes are available, and the template you personalise is the same at every one of them.

- Delivery: free UK delivery, typically 1–2 days after dispatch.
- Fabric: premium fire-retardant polyester, printed by dye sublimation so the colour bonds into the fabric. A heavyweight upgrade is available at checkout.
- Finish: reinforced edges with metal eyelets fitted as standard, so the flag is ready to hang or tie on arrival.

Can I change the green or the white cross?+
No. The green field and the white diagonal cross are locked. Text, artwork and size remain fully editable.
Is this the same as a national flag?+
The Saltire is a traditional diagonal-cross layout used by several flags. This template is an original geometric design in green and white and does not include any crest or emblem.
