Terms & Conditions
Last updated 12 October 2026
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to your use of footballflags.co and to any custom flag you order from us. Please read them carefully before you place an order.
By browsing the site, using our flag designer or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site. Nothing in these Terms affects your legal rights as a consumer.
1. Who we are
footballflags.co is operated by Football Flags (“we”, “us”, “our”). Our trading address is Unit 4 Crossroads Business Park, Clowne, Chesterfield, S43 4PU, United Kingdom, and our VAT registration number is GB512070542.
You can contact us by email at hello@footballflags.co or through the form on our contact page. Our office hours are Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm.
2. Using our website
You are responsible for making sure that anyone using the site through your internet connection is aware of these Terms.
To place an order you must be at least 18 years old, or have the permission of a parent or guardian who is.
- Use the site only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of, or restrict the use and enjoyment of, anyone else.
- Do not attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, its servers or any connected system, and do not upload anything containing viruses, malware or other harmful code.
- Do not scrape, copy, resell or commercially exploit any part of the site or its content without our written permission.
- Do not upload content that is unlawful, offensive, threatening, defamatory, obscene or that infringes anyone else's intellectual property.
We may suspend, withdraw or change all or part of the site without notice where we need to for maintenance, security or operational reasons. We do not guarantee that the site will always be available or free from errors.
3. Products and descriptions
We print custom football supporter flags to order. Standard sizes range from 3 × 2 ft (0.9 × 0.6 m) up to 12 × 6 ft (3.6 × 1.8 m), and are priced from £19.99. You can personalise a flag with your own text, images, artwork or a design created with our designer, and optional upgrades such as heavyweight material and express production are offered at checkout. Larger made-to-measure pitch flags are quoted individually.
The preview shown in our designer and on our product pages is a representation of your finished flag. Screens display colour as light (RGB) while flags are printed as ink (CMYK), so the printed colour may differ slightly from what you see on your device, and small variations in colour and finish can occur between production runs. Differences of this kind are normal for printed textiles and are not a fault.
Flag dimensions are shown in both feet and metres and are approximate. Product photographs and illustrations are for guidance only and may not show every detail of the finished item.
Our flags are printed on fire-retardant material suitable for stadium use, and are printed and finished in the UK. We may make minor changes to materials, packaging or construction from time to time, provided this does not reduce the quality of the product you receive.
4. Orders and payment
The information shown on the site is an invitation to order, not a binding offer. When you place an order you are making an offer to buy, and a contract is formed between us when we send you an order confirmation email.
All prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP). Payment is taken through our secure payment provider, Stripe, using the payment methods offered at checkout. Card details are entered directly with Stripe on their secure payment pages — we never see or store your full card details.
Please check your design, the spelling of any text, your chosen size and your delivery details carefully before you complete your order. We print exactly what you approve, so an error in the design you submit is an error in the flag we produce.
We may decline or cancel an order where we reasonably need to — for example if the item is unavailable, if a price or description contained an obvious error, if we suspect fraud, or if the artwork you have supplied is one we cannot lawfully print. If we cancel an order, we will tell you and refund any payment you have made.
We may limit the quantity of items in a single order or to a single customer, household or address, and we may refuse orders that appear to be placed for resale.
Where we offer a discount code, it is valid for one use per order unless we say otherwise, cannot be combined with other offers unless we say otherwise, has no cash value and may be withdrawn at any time. Discount codes cannot be applied after an order has been placed.
5. Pricing and availability
The price you pay is the price displayed when you place your order, together with any optional upgrades you have selected. Prices shown on the site include VAT. Prices may change at any time, but changes will not affect an order we have already confirmed.
Standard UK delivery is included in the price of your flag. Optional upgrades, such as heavyweight material and express production, are charged at the prices shown at checkout.
If we discover an error in the price or description of an item you have ordered, we will contact you before dispatch and give you the option to continue at the corrected price or cancel the order for a full refund.
All items are subject to availability, and made-to-measure pitch flags and bulk orders are quoted individually.
6. Delivery
Every flag is printed to order, so production begins once your order is confirmed. Free standard UK delivery is included on all orders, and we deliver to the UK addresses accepted at checkout.
We will deliver to the address you give us when you order. Please make sure it is complete and accurate, as we cannot be responsible for a delivery that fails because the details provided were incorrect or incomplete. Risk in the goods passes to you once they have been delivered to that address.
Production and delivery timescales are shown at checkout and in your order confirmation. These are estimates rather than guaranteed dates. Express production shortens the production time only — it does not speed up transit with the courier.
We use third-party couriers, so once an order has been dispatched we cannot control delays in transit. If a parcel is lost, we will arrange a replacement matching the original order specification.
If you need your flag for a specific date or event, please contact us before ordering so we can advise on the best option — for time-critical orders we can quote for a dedicated van delivery rather than a courier service.
7. Cancellations and returns
Every flag we make is printed to your own design, which means it is made to your specification and personalised. Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, the 14-day right to cancel does not apply to goods that are made to a customer's specification or clearly personalised. If we ever supply an item that is not personalised, the standard 14-day cancellation right applies to that item.
If you need to change or cancel an order, contact us as soon as possible. We will always try to help before production begins, although personalised flags often move into production very quickly.
This does not affect your rights if something is wrong with your flag. If a flag is faulty, damaged, or does not match the artwork you approved, we will put it right — see our Refund Policy for full details of how returns and refunds work.
8. Your artwork and content
You keep ownership of any text, image, logo or artwork you upload to us. By uploading it, you give us permission to store, reproduce and print it for the sole purpose of producing and delivering your order.
You confirm that you own, or have the necessary permission to use, everything you upload, and that printing it will not infringe anyone else's rights — including copyright, trade marks, club badges or crests, photographs and designs.
We may refuse or cancel an order, and refund any payment made, if the content you supply is unlawful, offensive, or appears to infringe a third party's rights.
We will not use your artwork for any other purpose, and we will not display your finished design publicly without your permission.
9. Our intellectual property
All content on this site — including our text, photographs, graphics, logos, page layouts, design templates, the flag designer and the site's underlying code — belongs to us or our licensors.
You may view and use the site for your own personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify or commercially exploit any part of our content without our written permission.
The FootballFlags.co name and logo may not be used without our written permission.
10. Liability and disclaimers
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded. Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
- We are not liable for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was made, or for indirect or consequential losses such as loss of profit, loss of business or loss of opportunity.
- Subject to the paragraph above, our total liability arising out of or in connection with an order is limited to the amount you paid us for that order.
- We do not guarantee that the site will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free, and we are not responsible for the accuracy of information on third-party websites we link to.
- We are not responsible for any failure or delay in performing our obligations where the cause is outside our reasonable control, including extreme weather, courier or network failures, or industrial action. If such an event affects your order we will contact you, and you may cancel any undelivered part of your order for a full refund.
11. General
If any part of these Terms is found to be unlawful, void or unenforceable, that part will be removed and the remaining Terms will continue in full force.
If we do not enforce a right under these Terms, that does not mean we have given up that right.
These Terms, together with our Refund Policy, our Privacy Policy and any order confirmation we send you, form the whole agreement between us and replace any earlier agreement or discussion.
No other person has any right to enforce any part of these Terms.
12. Governing law
These Terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or with an order you place with us, are governed by the law of England and Wales.
The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except that if you live in Scotland you may bring proceedings in the Scottish courts, and if you live in Northern Ireland you may bring proceedings in the Northern Irish courts.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our business or in the law. The version that applies to your order is the version published on this page at the time you place it.
The date at the top of this page shows when these Terms were last updated.
