Gold Makes the Black Cross Read Harder
A gold field with a black cross is a strong, warm combination. Black lettering on the gold fields gives the sharpest contrast, and the black cross arms take white or gold lettering well. Because the field is bright rather than white, the flag still reads as gold from a distance instead of washing out.

Every flag is dye-sublimation printed onto premium fire-retardant polyester, finished with reinforced edges and metal eyelets, and produced in the UK. Six standard sizes are available, and the template you personalise is the same at every one of them.
- Production: 2–3 working days as standard, or 1 working day with express production selected at checkout.
- Delivery: free UK delivery, typically 1–2 days after dispatch.
- Fabric: premium fire-retardant polyester, printed by dye sublimation so the colour bonds into the fabric. A heavyweight upgrade is available at checkout.
- Finish: reinforced edges with metal eyelets fitted as standard, so the flag is ready to hang or tie on arrival.
