Personalised Sunderland Football Flags

The stripe count, the colours and the order are all fixed. Your text, artwork and flag size are yours.
Sunderland template. This flag uses a fixed team-inspired design. You can personalise your text and artwork, but the flag colours and layout are preset.
Sunderland flag template: a five vertical stripes in Red, White, shown on a 5 × 3 ft flag. Personalise it with your own text and artwork in the FootballFlags.co designer.
How the Five Stripes Work
The flag is divided into five equal vertical stripes, alternating red and white, so the outermost stripes are red and the centre stripe is red too. That matters for placement: a line centred on the flag sits on the middle red stripe, which is the narrowest surface in the design. Two shorter lines, one on each of the outer red stripes, often read better.
Text Colours That Work Across Five Stripes
Add your wording and set the font, size and colour for each layer. White lettering reads strongly on the red stripes; red or black lettering suits the white ones. Upload artwork or a photograph and drag it into position, using the background remover if you want a clean cut-out.
Reading a Striped Flag From Distance
Vertical stripes compress visually as you move away, so fine detail in the text disappears first. Bold, heavy lettering held across two stripes survives the distance far better than a delicate font or a long line, and the outer red stripes give you the most room.
Sizes, Materials and Delivery
Every flag is dye-sublimation printed onto premium fire-retardant polyester, finished with reinforced edges and metal eyelets, and produced in the UK. Six standard sizes are available, and the template you personalise is the same at every one of them.
- Production: 2–3 working days as standard, or 1 working day with express production selected at checkout.
- Delivery: free UK delivery, typically 1–2 days after dispatch.
- Fabric: premium fire-retardant polyester, printed by dye sublimation so the colour bonds into the fabric. A heavyweight upgrade is available at checkout.
- Finish: reinforced edges with metal eyelets fitted as standard, so the flag is ready to hang or tie on arrival.
Sunderland Flag FAQs
Can I change the number of stripes?+
No. The flag is fixed at five equal vertical stripes. Text, artwork and flag size are all editable.
Where should I place text on a striped flag?+
The outer red stripes give the widest clear surfaces. Text centred on the flag lands on the narrow middle stripe, so keep it short there.
Will the stripes print evenly?+
Yes. The five stripes are equal in width by design, and dye-sublimation printing holds the edges clean.
Can I order more than one?+
Yes. Add the design to your basket and set the quantity there, or contact us for a larger run.
